Almost all of us are rely on brushing when it comes to dental hygiene. It cleans our teeth and removes plaque that can cause gum disease because it prevents bacteria to generate toxins that endangers our teeth as well as our health. But it is not advisable that we brush our teeth more than 2 times a day because too much brushing can cause dental problems. It damages the enamel of our teeth that may hasten tooth decay. Too much toothpaste can also cause dental problems because it contains detergents that make our mouth dry. Dry mouth increases bacteria production rate because there are not enough saliva to eliminate the bacteria inside our mouth. Learning the proper dental care will surely keep our teeth healthy. There are also natural products such as essential oils from peppermint and almonds that may help prevent our dental problems.
